            Eligibility Criteria of BIS FMCS for Capacitors

 

  1. Factory Units of FMCS applicants be locate outside India.
  2. Foreign manufacturers  accept all the Terms and Conditions set by BIS.
  3. A manufacturer who sells Capacitors has to pay registration fees, audit fees, and license fees, advance minimum marking fees, performance bank guarantee, etc. to the BIS FMCS authorities.
  4. FMCS applicants test the Capacitors before applying for an FMCS license.

                 Process of BIS FMCS for Capacitors

 

Preparation: Manufacturers have to accept all the terms and conditions of BIS FMCS as a mandatory requirement. Along with this, the manufacturer has to gather all the required documents such as the manufacturing process, list of machinery, business license, laboratory reports, list of raw materials, etc.

Registration Form: Once the manufacturer has gathered the required paperwork, they must register themselves and pay the registration fee to obtain an FMCS license. By providing the documents, and the manufacturer may apply both offline at the FMCD department in Delhi and online at the BIS website.
